We are looking to release beta 3 to the pre-release testers on January 1st, and a few days after that release it to the public. Most of the functionality is done, so that means we are just doing some final touches and going through some of the requests made in the forums now. If you would like to be in the pre-release team, fire me a PM to see if you qualify.
The main new thing in this release is static links, and will of course be optional (disabled by default). Static links are links that contain no query string, and don't change. The following URL, "vblogetin.com/blogs/viewblog.php?userid=1" will be rewritten as "vblogetin.com/blogs/the-daily-aj/" and the same goes for entries. There are a few built-in URL schemes you can choose from, but it was built flexibly, meaning you can create your own should be you desire to.
